NRCS (National Resource Conservation Service) Programs Leo Smock Randall- Supports land owners and land managers with management and conservation plans and planning. Numerous conservation programs that offer frant money in a 75-90 percent cost share. Also have National Initiatives focused on energy audits and financial support for energy conservation practices.

Locavesting- David Fisher & Special Guest just off her Tedx Maui presentation, Amy Cortese http://www.amycortese.com . 40 percent of new farmers denied funding, locavesting allows local communities to invest in local resources. 98 percent of Americans can only legally invest in companies through the stock market. David Fisher focused on a local stock exchange, state study group determeined it is feasible, working with Mission Markets to implement so that we may invest locally.
Post harvest protocols for timber bamboo Rich Von Welshiem-Whispering Winds Bamboo- http://www.whisperingwindsbamboo.com/ - Bamboo Cooperative with 18 acres in Bamboo. Nursery, reforestation, certified organic, employee owned. Bamboo as the building material of the future. 4 years to good harvest of timber. Doubles in height each year. Problems with the powder post beatle and termites if not treated. Whispering Winds has a pressure Treatment Chamber for Borate treatment.
Seth- Natural Farming- culturing microorganisms, IMO- Indigenous Micro Organisms. Cultured and reinoculated into land- fertilizer, balancing agent, conditioner, eats pathogens, aerobic micro organisms.
